Santa
Cruz Best Kept Secret! Brian Chester
and Friends play every Wednesday at Bocci's Cellar in Santa Cruz from
8-11PM. The musicians are Gary Carpenter on electric guitar, Bruce
Handloff on drums, Vic Revere on bass, and of course Brian Chester on
keyboard! The music is killer and the band is often joined by top local
musicians including Cindy Edwards, Gary Regina, Johnny Fabulous and
others. And there's no cover charge...
Brian's Other Bands Brian has been
playing music in the Santa Cruz area for many years
and plays often with several
local bands, including :
Vito and Friends
Vito and Friends plays full on
rock and roll dance music and some blues
too at Henfling's in Ben Lomond. Vito plays electric guitar and sings
lead vocals. These guys came out of the original Henfling's house
band The Firebirds.
Caravan/Ann Whittington
Quartet
Caravan is a jazz band
featuring the exceptional saxophone playing of
Phil Smith and vocalist Ann Whittington. In addition to Brian,
other band members
include Vic Revere on bass and Jersey Foreman on drums.

The Bluesbenders play the
blues in and around Santa Cruz, including the Fog Bank in Capitola.
Tribal Heat
Tribal Heat is a creation of
Gary Carpenter and features his guitar
